Our facilities throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia utilize solar panels, which cuts our energy consumption in half. Our sustainable solar electric systems help to create zero emissions and a reduced carbon footprint.
All of our waste is recycled. Our oil and wash-off water are both contained, treated and recycled appropriately and safely. Our oil filters are all kept, crushed and recycled. We make every attempt to ensure that nothing leaving our shops ends up in a landfill.
Our service vans are high MPG vehicles for greater fuel efficiency, lower emissions and reduced pollution. Through our GPS tracking system, we develop the shortest and most efficient routes to our customers to eliminate extra emissions on the road, as well as excessive idling time.
Finally, we participate in industrial battery recycling and rebuilding programs. Through the reuse and reprocessing of the batteries, we are reducing waste significantly. Some batteries are sent off for rebuilding – which is a process that restores the functionality of old or weak batteries by breaking down lead sulfate buildup and extending their life.
